How Molly’s changed in Jimmy’s eyes

In chapter 16, Molly comes back to Raggleton on holiday. In Jimmy’s eyes, she has changed a lot sense the last time he saw her. When he first sees her get off the train, Jimmy is ‘impressed by the way she was growing up.’ And Jimmy notices that she is ‘getting to be good-looking’, and feminine. Jimmy notices a large difference in the way she is dressing, and he says that it ‘hit me all of a sudden’. In Jimmy’s eyes, Molly has grown up a lot, and is becoming less like a child, and more like an adult.
However, despite these changes, the fact that each child still thinks that they are the only one who understands what’s going on between their parents still remains the same.
