Don't make technology rule your life!

After reading two news paper articles, I was seriously concerned about the effects of technology
to us. I always tought the development of technology had more positive effects rather than negative effects. But after reading the articles, digital devices appeared like monstrous robots reshaping our personalities to me.

What was extremely shocking was that the parents who are suppose to have self-controlness are not able to control their use of thecnology. I have seen many teenagers who have problems with using the appropriate amount of technologies but parents unable to limit their use? It came to me as a shocking information. Also, I was worried about technologies continuosly distracting parents and children having interactions. Children at young age want to ascertain whether
their parents love them or not but if parents are spending their time in phone calls and emails
at home, this will leave indelible scars on children. If they get the feeling that they are not being loved they will always have this unconcious wound deep under them which will be an obstacle
socialising in the future.

Also this two articles enabled me to reflect on myself. I felt a prick of conscience when the article
was talking about the mom who said 'Just wait a secondJust wait a second' because when I'm
on the internet I always say 'I'm almost done just one minute' to my mom. And also I thought about myself getting bored while waiting the elevator, touching my phone. I got an idea that technology must fit in my life not allowing them to make my life.

This article gave interesting facts and made me to think about whether I am a healthy technology user.
