Wait, what did you say again?

After reading the two articles, what i thought was most surprisingly was how much time parents spend on technology and how it's even consider an issue now since it may have an effect on their children. How they're able to learn, how they are able to communicate and how they will become. Parents are always telling us to stop texting at the dinner table or to turn off the TV to read a book instead after staring at the screen for hours. They say that we spend too much time on Facebook rather than work on our studies but hold on, what are they doing then? This article is saying how many parents are constantly on their phones and checking their work emails instead of being an actual parent. To be able to teach their children and give them a more educational and loving environment.

What was also intriguing to me in these articles was some of the effects technology has done to people. Connor Campbell, a 16yrs old with a tech-savvy father, received his first C's and technology was blamed. I can understand how our devices and gadgets may result in us spending less time on revising for a test or finishing our homeworks but it's quite surprisingly to me how it could cause grades like that. I spend ages on Facebook or Skype but still manage to do all my homeworks and my grades haven't slipped to a C. Therefore, I find it quite difficult to imagine exactly how much time Connor spends on technology.
