More harm than good! Remember!

Last week, we discussed about the excessive use of technology by children, including teenagers and how bad the effects were on them. Today, we are still talking about the same topic, but for parents and adults.

We know that technology is playing a very important role in our daily life and the dependence of technology has helped us a lot in doing and reducing the number of things such as communication and entertainment. However, everything has its own limit. If you go too far, it may lead to some very harmful and substantial consequences; in this case, it may reduce your concentration in school, work, harm your health and 'deform' your personality- vanity, impatience and forgetting habit. Many experts have pointed out that not just teenagers are badly affected by this trend but also adults. Their realization is much more developed than younger people, so why can't they control themselves? Let's find out.

After reading this article, I have witnessed a lot of really shocking moments when adults doing things like a kid. That is what happening to the case of Mr. Campbell, 43. He promised to unplug himself away from electronic devices so the rest could get away from theirs as well to relax for a while. However, he broke half of the promise- he did go on the vacation with family, but spent time on the new device which he bought the night before, iPad from Apple. They were so excited about it that they forgot to have dinner! Oh dear, imagine how bad this is! Again, the next day, he promised them to go to the aquarium, but then wanted to stay back and play games! In general, I can see that the excessive use on technology can make adults become so lazy and addictive that they don't want to do anything at all, which seem to be simple. The good example will be instead of going out to have fun and relax, Mr.Campbell played games in the room!

Another shock comes from Mrs.Campbell, his wife. This time, the excessive use has made her become a clown- doing silly things. While baking cookies in the kitchen, she received and replied texts and texts on her phone and then got lost in Facebook. The outcome: the cookies got burned! Then she started all over again, but once more, her bad habit forced her to pay the price for the second time! So, like what has happened to the younger people, excessive use of technology can make themselves forgetful and can't concentrate since they just put their eyes on the device. The result: everything is left undone and destroyed.

Maturity is not a sufficient factor that can make people get away from excessive technology use. They have to have self-determination as well.
