The first point that really shocked me was that the little baby tried to bite the mums leg just to get her attention. This is shocking to me because a mother is naturly ment to care for and give 100% of her attention to their child, but this mum is so wrapped up in her phone that she doesn't pay any attention to her 2 and a half year old that he/she resorted in biting the mothers leg. I mean how addicted do you have to be to not notice your own child.
The other poit that suprised me was that Lily was only 8 and her parents gave her an ipod touch, a portable DVD player and her own laptop. I mean i dont even have that much stuff and shes like 6 years younger than me. This was suprising because her parents dont spend time with her so to make it up they give her all that stuff that she doesnt really need, even her mum siad that when she is on the laptop you can call her name all day but she would not respond. In my opinon i think it was bad parenting because lily should not be consumed with technology but in stead should be out side playing with her friends.

Very interesting points Danny. Your point about it being neglectful of the parents to be giving things to their young children to "distract" them from wanting parental attention is original and well expressed, good work.
Please edit some capitalisations and explain the first sentence by explaining that your post is in response to an article you read.
