Technology taking a turn for better or worse?

One point that captured my attention in the article was affects it has on people for example how much stress technology actually cause on the human brain, and sometimes, without the person even knowing what is causing that stress. Scientist say that heavy multitaskers of today actually have more trouble focusing and shutting out irrelevant information (like there aren't already enough distractions.) Even at the end of multitasking, fractured thinking and lack of focus still persists. So even after use, it still has an affect on your mind. And i find it kind of amusing, because technology is becoming more and more developed, and adapted to help make daily tasks and some other things easier, but really they're just making it harder to concentrate, and creating more stress, as said by some scientists.

Another point that intrigued me was that even adults are highly dependent on technology. I mean, I thought it was just checking emails and stuff like that, but some adults even play video games (what a life they have) I mean, while reading the article, it was surprising how many parents neglect their children due to excessive use of e-devices like cellphones and laptops. One example of this was that child who kept trying to get his/her mum's attention but instead kept being ignored because the mother was texting the phone. In the end the child had to BITE the mothers leg to get her attention. I wonder what the mother did to the kid afterwards.....yeahh.
Anyway, not only is excessive use found in teens but also in adults. And to me, i found that preeettyy interesting. Especially that guy who like played video games when he told his wife he had to check his email. He must really have an exciting, adventurous life. It's things like that that make you ask....what has the world come to?

Yeah, anyway some other points that or totally off topic that i found pretty interesting was that internet users are more efficient at finding information and players of some video games develop better visual activity....that's preeety cool.
