Is Bloody Jack's advice correct?

I think that Bloody Jack's advice in one way is the best for Jimmy, in other perspective it is not a clever advice. Bloody Jack's solution to Jimmy's problem is "see nothing, hear nothing".

This is a way of escaping from the problem, escaping from the reality. In my opinion it might be the best thing which Jimmy can do. There is no way for Jimmy to have the courage and ability to ask his parent to stop their own argument and have a talk with each other, also the problem have been there for many years. He is still 11 years old, he is not able to cope with this kind of problem, which adult also find the problem hard to solve. Also the core of Jimmy's problem is from his parent, they both dislike each other, there is not really many thing which Jimmy can do. Although Jimmy is innocent from what is happening but the problem won't stop because of this. Therefore escaping from the problem and what is happening might be the best thing for Jimmy to do.

However, there is also downside to this solution. Jimmy is still an human being, therefore he would still have all the five senses which everyone have. He cannot stop his ear to hear, and his eyes to see. As a result, all of what he had saw and hear will slowly build inside him emotionally. It is like packing up piles and piles of high explosive substances. This will make him extremely unstable and even the smallest trigger can set Jimmy on fire. There are only two result, either someone help Jimmy to get through it or Jimmy get himself into self destruction. The solution which Bloody Jack gives might not be suitable to Jimmy, because Jimmy is a clever as he had told us and this meant that it is more likely for Jimmy to use this advice in the wrong way. Which might made the situation worse.

As a result, I think that Bloody Jack's advice might be good but it is certainly not the best for Jimmy's problem. Since the problem happens in Jimmy's house and it happens every time his parent meet to each other.

WeiHsiang, your comments show that you undertand the tension created between what Bloody Jack tells Jimmy and what he is feeling and going through. You are right in saying that it is almost impossible to "shut off" from things that are going on around us.

Perhaps it is the best advice Bloody Jack can give in the circumstances. Your explanations are detailed, well done.

Can you please edit some of your sentences. Your post needs a little bit of fine tuning in terms of grammar usage.
